Reconnecting with old friends and meeting new ones

It was so lovely to see Chrys again the one with the champagne Chrys is an artist friend if you have a closer look she is holding a cookie cutter dressed in a handmade cover which is a knitted vagina shhhh! did someone say vagina hehehe!! yes! Chrys will be exhibiting her Domestic Goddess collection at Artisan's Fortitude Valley on October 9th 6-8pm it's sure to be naughty but nice come along you have to see it to believe it. Chrys bought along her 3 lovely friends fashion designer Yeshim and her daughter princess Alara and Jewlery designer Yvonne it was so lovely to meet you all. Chrys was also lucky enough to win 2 of the raffle prizes which she generously shared with her friends. See you at the next bad meeting Chrys xx

I also caught up with another lovely artist friend Silke Savran (who also generously donated some handmade beauties) and her daughter princess Maya. Silke just started a new contract with Queensland Rail working on a public arts project. Checkout the beautiful butterflies on her blog. Silke is also exhibiting new work in a group show called "Gentle Persusion"along side Laney Robinson and other artists at Perculator Gallery on August 23rd 6-8pm definately worth a look. Auctioneer Sonia Mani in the pink cardigan did a great job $1171 was raised from the auction, and raffles the Wendy Susan head piece made $100.
