In Season

It's that time of year when everything is growing in abundance. We have 3 huge Gardenia trees in full bloom and a magnificent magnolia boasting dinner plate flowers. The scents are heavenly. Every few days I bring a few gardinia's in to freshen up the house. I have to resist going to get the ladder to cut a magnificent magnolia. One has managed to make into the house. I was delighted to see it close overnight into a huge tulip shape. Pineapples and mushrooms seem to be in season. As we drive around the local area farmers set up little stalls outside their properties selling their produce. I really like the idea of bolting down the honesty box. Beats sitting around all day.
